Chapter 01: The Lure of Adventure - Walkthrough
Objective: Reach Sam
Once the opening cutscene concludes, exit through the window and head toward the roof's corner that lies in front of you. Look to your right side and leap over the short wall, then use the HVAC unit to climb upward. Utilize the air duct hatches as stepping points to scale to the top of this wall structure.
Descend to the opposite side by dropping down, then jump back over the wall to access the other section of the rooftop. Slide down along the roof's surface and hop over the small wall positioned beside the window. Continue moving around the roof's corner on your right side and enter through either of the two windows that are left open.
After entering the building, proceed to open the door located opposite to your entry window, then step out into the hallway. Walk down to the hallway's end, then press yourself against the wall near the open doorway and wait. Watch for the priest and nun to turn away from your direction before sneaking forward into cover behind the filing cabinets positioned in the room's center.
Once Father Duffy and Sister Katherine split up, tail the nun as she enters the left-side room while remaining hidden in cover. Stay close to the shelving units and move around the right corner, then quickly transition to the cover provided by the sofa when Sister Katherine faces toward the window. After the priest requests her help, let her walk past your position and escape by vaulting out through the open window to return outside.
From the window sill, lower yourself to the ledge underneath, then move leftward along the ledge until you're able to pull yourself up onto the rooftop. Sprint to this section's end and leap over the narrow gap to the adjacent side, then grab hold of the ledge that's exposed above your position.
Continue shimmying and jumping toward the right until you come across an old drainpipe. Jump to grab it and scale upward to its top, then interact with the backpack item to activate a cutscene.
Objective: Escape the Orphanage
Following the cutscene, observe Sam as he scales the wall nearby, then leap to grab his hand so he can pull you up to the higher section. Stay behind Sam as he navigates across the rooftops with parkour and climbing, continuing until you arrive at a metal-grated platform where he vaults the railing and slides down the roof beyond it. Vault over and slide after him, then traverse the subsequent roof he crosses to initiate another cutscene on the far side.
As the cutscene finishes, pursue Sam up the rope and maintain your pace with him until he makes the jump across the gap toward the clock tower. After Nate hesitates during his initial attempt, step backward slightly and build up momentum with a running start to successfully complete the jump. Once Sam grabs you and hoists you upward, keep following him as he ascends the tower and travels over the surrounding rooftops.
When Sam tosses his rope over a beam in the area, he'll suggest you swing across ahead of him. Accept the rope and launch yourself off the platform's edge to swing to the other side, then release and jump off once you're positioned over the landing area.
At this point, you'll begin ascending the church tower facing you, but will become separated from Sam during the climb. Rather than attempting to go upward, track the climbable stone holds around the right corner, then use the tower window shutters to climb back up and reunite with Sam.
Stay with him across the following roof and around the peak of another tower structure. After he drops down and slides along the roof beneath you, replicate his actions and do the same. As you approach the roof's bottom edge, hit the jump button to launch yourself toward the platform on the opposite side where Sam will catch your fall.
Continue around the corner with him and, after he hands you the rope and grappling hook equipment, aim and latch it onto the streetlight fixture and swing yourself to the catwalk on the street's opposite side. Upon landing safely on the catwalk, descend using the ladder at the platform's far end to trigger the final cutscene and complete the chapter.
Chapter 02: Infernal Place - Walkthrough
Following the opening cutscene, Nate becomes involved in a fistfight with a fellow inmate. Press Square to throw punches and Triangle to counter or reposte enemy attacks. After inflicting sufficient damage, the prison guards will intervene to stop the brawl, triggering the next cutscene.
Once the scene concludes, trail behind Vargas (or rather, allow him to shove you around) as he guides you through a large wooden doorway. Upon descending the stairs beyond this door, turn left and proceed down the corridor until you arrive at the T junction. Exit through the door on your right side to initiate another cutscene.

Objective: Reach Burns's Cell
When the Vargas cutscene finishes, leap down from the damaged staircase in front of you and slide down along the shale hillside, then jump forward to catch the ledge and pull yourself up to stable ground. Scale the wall on the left to enter the small courtyard space, then make your way to the workbench located on the yard's opposite side to retrieve your rope and grappling hook.
Treasure #1: Panamanian Cat Pendant
Descend into the well situated in the courtyard where Nathan recovers his grappling equipment. The treasure can be found resting at the well's bottom.
After acquiring your rope, locate the large wheeled crate (you'll encounter many of these throughout the game) and push it against the rock wall positioned to the right of the workbench.
Use the crate to climb onto the rocky outcropping, then deploy your rope to swing over the gap and land at the prison tower's base. On the far side, utilize the next grapple point ahead to swing toward the climbable wall that protrudes from the ruins' corner.
Pull yourself over the ledge's top, then shimmy rightward and scale the cracked wall surface. Follow the ledge as it wraps around the corner to keep ascending, then slide down the shale slope and use your rope to leap to safety. Swing to the opposite wall and grip the bricks to advance forward.
Ascend the deteriorating tower structure until you reach its rooftop, then walk to the beam's edge that faces the prison and jump onto the tower's outer wall.
While positioned on the tower wall, use the ledges either on your left or right side (wrapping around the corner) to reach one of the two window openings located beneath the parapets.
Treasure #2: Navaja Folding Knife
After climbing through the tower window for the first time, descend to the lower floor where you'll spot the treasure glimmering in a rubble pile. It's positioned near the barricaded window that requires pulling down with your hook.
While inside the tower, remain on the upper level and use your rope to tear down the wooden boards blocking the window at the room's far end. Jump through the window opening to get back outside, then utilize the ledges on your right to navigate around the tower's corner and climb upward toward Burns's cell.

The Zodiac Puzzle
Within the cell, you'll discover numerous symbols and roman numerals etched into the walls - you may have also observed similar markings on the letter Vargas provided earlier. To prompt Nate to establish this connection, examine the Sun/Moon symbol carvings in the cell's corner beside the door, then retrieve the letter and turn it to the reverse side.
After identifying the two symbols, find them on the wall - they correspond to the roman numerals X and II. Search for the brick marked with the number XII, then interact with it to complete the puzzle and trigger a cutscene.

When the cutscene concludes, you'll face multiple members of Gustavo's crew. Use the roll button to dodge incoming attacks and avoid taking damage, and coordinate with Sam to tag-team opponents for quick takedowns. After defeating enough of his subordinates, Gustavo will personally challenge you - inflict adequate damage on him and the guards will interrupt with another cutscene.
The Escape
Following the cutscene, pursue Sam and Rafe as they sprint through the prison corridors. Upon reaching the first barred gate, assist Sam in prying the bars from a nearby window opening.
Chase Sam across the rooftop sections, then use the yellow scaffolding to descend to ground level. Continue following Sam as he enters a nearby maintenance tunnel, and use your dodge/roll ability to evade gunfire from the guard positioned at the alleyway's end.
Move to the left and climb up the machinery following Sam - when he encounters a dead end, pivot around and follow Rafe up and over the metal railing.
He will also discover another secured door - turn away from Rafe to give Sam a boost up to the nearby ladder, then climb after both of them onto the rooftop.

Collectibles Guide
Treasure #1: Antique Padlock
At the chapter's opening, swim toward the right side until you spot a log wedged between two boulder formations. The treasure is located on the ground underneath this log.
Treasure #2: Chiriqui Shark Trinket
Within the cave section on the left side, positioned halfway between the chapter's start and the trailer location. You'll find it situated between the cave's two sections.
Main Objectives
When Jameson (the voice communicating through your radio) prompts you, examine the substantial gash torn into the container's side. Dive down to the door located at the trailer's rear and force open the latch to unlock the doors.
Enter the container by swimming inside and examine the netted crates clustered together on the trailer's far wall. While exiting the trailer, inspect the crate positioned underneath it, then swim back out through the door.
Treasure #3: Antique Pocketwatch
Move forward from the damaged trailer through the tall grass area, continuing all the way to reach the rock wall. The treasure sits on a small ledge there.
The second container you need to locate is positioned ahead and slightly left from where you emerge from the trailer - grab the crate and swim back to the netting within the shipping container to deposit the box, then leave the container.
After the crane gets lowered into position, take hold of one of the two winch cables and dive down to the truck axle beneath it. Circle around the axle while swimming, then secure the rope by tying it off. Complete this same procedure on the opposite side.
Following the trailer's elevation, dive down to collect the final crate and deliver it inside the shipping container.
Exit the trailer by swimming out and ascend to the crane's top to sit down and ride it back to the water's surface.
Treasure #4: Antique Arcade Token
Climb the stairs positioned in the center of the boat's deck area and locate the treasure resting on a shelf opposite the crane.
Optional Conversations
This chapter features two optional conversations near its conclusion:
Conversation #1: With a boat crew member. Following your lift from the water, speak with the individual standing by the trailer doors.
Conversation #2: With another boat crew member. This person is positioned next to the crane in the boat deck's center.
Chapter Conclusion
Upon reaching the surface, press Triangle to take off your diving equipment and walk toward the ship's rear section to meet with Jameson. Trail behind him as he approaches the recovered trailer and grab the crowbar to activate a cutscene and complete the chapter.

Exploring the Attic
Following the moment you finish storing away the Malaysia Job file, navigate Drake through a nostalgic journey by examining all of the artifacts tucked away in his attic space. These objects are memorabilia from prior Uncharted adventures, and at the room's opposite end (from your starting position) sits a cardboard box holding the St. Dismas Cross along with a white book.
Feel free to inspect these objects, then retrieve the toy pistol from the holster hanging on the room divider. Test your shooting skills on the different targets scattered throughout the room (including a Yeti, an El Dorado Ancient, a Djinn, and Zoran Lazarevic) until Elena shouts up to you. Access the floor hatch to climb down into the house and proceed downstairs.
Hidden Trophy Tip: Hitting all targets in the attic will unlock the hidden trophy "Still Got It!"
Dinner Time
Grab the two food bowls sitting on the kitchen counter to activate a cutscene. After it finishes, experience some classic PSone nostalgia by playing through a level of Crash Bandicoot.

In this section's first portion, you'll need to neutralize four guards - two stationed on the floor directly in front of you and two positioned on the overhead catwalk. An additional four guards are arranged similarly (two above and two below) around the bend in the block's second corridor.
As you navigate the cell block's final corner, the door at the distant end explodes open and three additional guards join the battle. Take them down - along with the two on the balcony above - then grab the MP34a SMG from the fallen guards while exiting.

Gather any ammunition you require and find cover (facing your entry direction) behind the pillar adjacent to the door, then brace yourself for a guard assault.
One guard will appear on the balcony (your entry point) and four will storm into the room from the back corner - opposite your current escape door. Neutralize all five guards then meet up with Alcazar and wait while he demolishes the door.
Prison Yard Escape
Trail Alcazar around the bend and up the stairs leading into the prison yard, then jump onto the boxes to vault over the fence at the staircase top.
Within the yard, immediately seek cover behind the nearest cinderblock stack, and advance toward the guard tower's base by dodging and rolling between protective barriers. Utilize the blindfire capability to handle any guards who emerge ahead of your position, and once you approach the tower's foundation, one of Alcazar's soldiers should arrive to assist with an RPG.
Pursue Hector through the doorway at the yard's end and continue sprinting after him while his crew handles the remaining prison security. Drop down into the courtyard area then scale back up the pipe scaffolding and vault over the railing above the waiting transport vans to activate a cutscene and conclude the chapter.

Within the yard, immediately seek cover behind the nearest cinderblock stack, and advance toward the guard tower's base by dodging and rolling between protective barriers. Chapter 06: Once a Thief - Walkthrough
Objective: Meet Victor Sullivan
Following the opening cutscene, scale the ledge positioned in front of you and take any route through the field area.
Treasure #1: Mughal Water Container
After descending the initial rocky hillside with Sam, move far to the left at the cliff that overlooks the water below.
Upon reaching the glen's end, you'll arrive at a cliff edge - pivot to your left and move toward the bridge's underside.
Deploy your rope (twice) to latch onto the bridge structure, then swing down to the climbable ledges on the bridge's left side. Sam will replicate this action - after he does, climb back over his position and let him rope the following branch. Navigate to the rope and ascend, then swing over to the adjacent ledge.
Climb out to the tree branch and swing to grab the rocks beside Sam. After the guards retreat inside, scale the wall and traverse the lemon grove to the small structure in the corner opposite your climbing entry point.
Treasure #2: Nephrite Brass Cup
Located on a rear window of the building in the citrus grove's back section that cannot be entered.
Optional Conversation #1
The first optional conversation in Chapter 06 occurs as you're moving toward the estate through the citrus grove, prior to entering the small shack structure.
Enter the building and descend the stairs to the lower floor. Attach your rope to the beam spanning the ceiling, then leap out the window and rappel downward. Swing repeatedly until you build sufficient momentum to jump to the ground on your left side.
After Sam catches up with you, take the path downward and climb onto the raised earth at the ruined stone arch's base.
Optional Conversation #2
The second optional conversation emerges as you move down through the ruins at the cliff base beneath the mansion.
Ascend to the arch's peak, then utilize the metal pole to leap across to the manor's base on the opposite side.
Edge along the wall, then jump to the pole and use the monkey-bar technique to cross and leap to the rock outcropping at the distant end. Sam will join you and employ his rope to access the ledge above your position - climb up to meet him and activate a cutscene.
Objective: Get the Keycard
When the cutscene finishes, pursue Victor and Sam down to the ballroom to access the auction floor.
Treasure #3: Viking Cloak Clasp
Following the cutscene with Sully, turn around and return to the room where Sam and Nathan made their entrance. The treasure sits on a small desk around the corner from the doorway.
Optional Conversation #3
The third conversation is easily overlooked - follow Sam when he steps out onto the balcony before the auction begins after reconnecting with Sully.
Treasure #4: Mother of Pearl Horn
After the third conversation, pivot around and the treasure will be resting on an edge on the balcony's right side.
Interact with the door where Sully pauses to activate a brief cutscene. When it concludes, approach the waiter from his rear and use L2 to focus on the keycard. Maintain Nate's view centered on his back pocket, then press Triangle to acquire the card when the indicator meter fills completely. Success comes on the third attempt.
Objective: Reach the Power Room
Following the cutscene, trail Sam through the storage room and into the expansive pantry, then through the corridor on the opposite side.
Treasure #5: Persian Bronze Bowl
In the food storage section, proceed straight past the circular tables. The bowl is concealed in the food pallet covered by blue tarps.
Descend the stairs to the sub-basement level (beyond the room filled with guards) where he encounters an unexpected gate barrier.
Treasure #6: Brass Barber's Bowl
Located beneath the staircase you use to descend to the cellar's lower level.
Move to the room's far end and push the large wine cask backward into the adjacent room to advance. Open the door in this space and continue descending into the wine cellar with Sam providing illumination.
After navigating the first corner, duck down the aisle immediately past the archway you pass under. Grab the cask and pull it backward to establish a passage from the next aisle.
Circle around the aisle's opposite side and pass through the opening created by the cask. Follow this passage around to the left, then grab and drag the second large cask discovered there. Return to the main pathway and follow it to its conclusion, jumping through the window that was previously obstructed by the cask.
In the wine cellar's next section, you'll notice a large ventilation duct near the ceiling. Pull the massive cask to its left away from the wall until it rests beneath the vent, then climb onto the cask to open the vent and crawl inside.
Proceed through the vent as far as possible, then retreat when you encounter an impassable set of bars. Fortunately, Sam has discovered a panel he can open - follow him through and climb up on the far side. When it's safe to advance, follow Sam up and exit the duct.
Treasure #7: Syrian Vase
After exiting the ventilation system, vault over the railing in the initial courtyard area with the secured gate. Ascend the ladder in this small courtyard and scale the building. The treasure is located on the first rooftop.
Follow Sam to the secured gate and interact with it to deliberate your next action, then give Sam a boost up to the ladder leading to the balcony on the gate's right side. Follow him up the ladder, then across the next balcony. When he discovers the next door locked, he'll give you a boost and initiate a cutscene.
Treasure #8: Persian Candlestick
Sam lowers the ladder for your access. Climb up, but don't follow him off the bridge. Instead, sprint across to the small room with the red door and red windows. Climb the windows to the rooftop, then look slightly to the right. Jump to the balcony positioned above the shrubbery. The treasure rests on the middle pillar on the balcony.
When the cutscene concludes, use the steel latticework on the courtyard's back-left wall to climb up to the first-level balcony. Next, continue ascending onto the corner balcony's roof just above your position.
Jump to the gazebo's roof in the courtyard's center, and from there continue across to the roof opposite your position.
Utilize the window bars or decorative tiles to climb up to the second story roof, then leap across to the metal poles and down to the ledge below to trigger another cutscene.
Treasure #9: Mughal Dagger
Following the cutscene where Nathan falls, leap across to the first metal pipe, then descend. Nathan will grip a lower pipe. Jump across, then hang left. Hang from the cliff that's nearer to the water, and shimmy rightward. Climb up the pillar and you'll locate the treasure.
When the cutscene ends, leap to the metal bar opposite your position, then drop down to the one beneath and jump back onto solid ground.
Scale the wall to yet another metal bar, then jump and swing across these to access the outer wall below the power room. Turn around and climb up around the corner, then over the pipes and maintenance panels to reach the power room.
After the cutscene concludes, begin examining the nearby containers for something to break the lock with - there is no fixed location for this item, it will be discovered in the 5th location Nate inspects.
Chapter 07: Lights Out - Walkthrough
Following the cutscene where Nathan falls, leap across to the first metal pipe, then descend. Nathan will grip a lower pipe. Jump across, then hang left. Hang from the cliff that's nearer to the water, and shimmy rightward. Climb up the pillar and you'll locate the treasure.
When the cutscene ends, leap to the metal bar opposite your position, then drop down to the one beneath and jump back onto solid ground.
Scale the wall to yet another metal bar, then jump and swing across these to access the outer wall below the power room. Turn around and climb up around the corner, then over the pipes and maintenance panels to reach the power room.
After the cutscene concludes, begin examining the nearby containers for something to break the lock with - there is no fixed location for this item, it will be discovered in the 5th location Nate inspects.
Chapter 07: Lights Out - WalkthroughObjective: Escape the Villa
Ascend the stairs from your initial position and leap from the balcony at the summit to the tower positioned across from you. Descend to the lower ledge and shimmy around the left corner, then jump to the roof opposite your position to evade detection by the first patrol.

While staying close to the wall to avoid detection by the guards overhead, proceed along the corridor and through the door leading to the rear balcony. Leap from the balcony to the rooftop, then utilizing cover to prevent detection, navigate your way up to the next balcony on the roof's opposite side across from you.
Climb onto the balcony and head left, ducking into the tall flower beds and either neutralizing or bypassing the guards. After they're dealt with, ascend the stairs at the courtyard's distant end (or climb the railing's side) to reach the level with the fountain, then continue up the next staircase to the third balcony.
Take cover behind the flower box to avoid detection by the new guard contingent, then swiftly climb up the illuminated window and back around the corner into the darkness.
